Show jumping that starts with trust.
Kaja Sanokowska: show jumping training for riders and horses. Kraków and the surrounding area. I come to your yard.

Showjumping · Horses & riders training
I train partnerships, not just riders.
Every session is tailored to a specific horse and a specific rider. I work with people returning to the saddle after a break, amateurs who want to ride with more confidence, and riders preparing for competitions, from their first 60 cm classes up to L level (around 1.05 m). I coach in Polish, English and French.

About me
Kaja Sanokowska
Riding coach and show jumping competitor. I have gone from my first horse of my own, through a competition licence, to competing regularly.
I know what it takes to work with a young, sensitive horse, to come back after an injury and to build trust step by step. In my sessions I combine technique with the mental side of the sport: calm, confidence and the joy of riding.

📍
Kraków and around
I travel to my clients’ yards: Wieliczka, Skawina, Niepołomice, Zielonki and nearby. I coach in Polish, English and French. We can sort out the details over the phone.

“Trust is built over time. It takes getting to know each other and testing your limits together.”
— from Trust comes first
How I work
Technique is only half of it.
Trust
In your horse, your trainer and yourself. Without it, it’s hard to stay calm on course or to let yourself be guided.
Calm
Focus on yourself and your horse, a clear warm-up plan, breathing. The warm-up arena doesn’t have to be stressful.
Joy of the sport
We analyse mistakes after the round, not during it. Riding into the arena, you are already living your dream.

Kaja in the ring
I teach what I do in the ring myself.
Since June 2026 I have been competing on Linde KG, a grey gelding who took me up to 1.20 m classes in our very first season.
I know the pre-round nerves, the rail at the last fence and the joy of a clear round, because I compete regularly myself. Everything I learn at my own shows and clinics goes straight into the sessions with my riders.

Exercises from our sessions
-

A simple gymnastic layout with many combinations
One set of poles and uprights you can turn into several gymnastic lines, from easy to demanding.
-

Gymnastics for precision, control and straightness
Poles and verticals set so the rider has to think about the line and the horse about the rhythm.
-

Gymnastics with diagonal approaches and changes of direction
An exercise for a good canter in tight turns that also builds straightness and an even rhythm.

I coach show jumping in and around Kraków, Poland, including Wieliczka, Skawina, Niepołomice and Zielonki. I travel to the yard where your horse is kept, so you don’t need to transport your horse.
Who are the lessons for?
Riders getting back into the saddle after a break, amateurs who want to ride with more confidence and competitors from their first 60 cm classes up to L level (around 1.05 m). I also work with young horses and horses returning from a break or injury.
Which languages do you coach in?
I coach in English, Polish and French, so expat and international riders living in Kraków are very welcome.
Do you help with competition preparation?
Yes. I prepare a training plan before the show, help with the warm-up and support riders at the ringside. I compete myself, currently in classes up to 1.20 m.
What happens in the first session?
We start with a short phone call about you, your horse and your goals. In the first session I watch the pair in action, decide where to start and then we agree on a plan for regular training.
